Sometimes you do not need a ride — you need a vehicle that waits. A wedding, a hospital appointment, moving between three markets in one afternoon. Hourly rental is built for that, and in Karachi it is often cheaper than booking ride after ride.

AC adds 20% on cars and vans. Bookings made for the same day add 26%, so book a day ahead if you can.
Deposits and payment
When you book, the rental payment is held in escrow — Drivio keeps it until the rental is completed, rather than handing it to the rider in advance. A refundable customer security deposit of Rs 1,000 is held too. If you cancel a confirmed rental, a cancellation fee of Rs 501 applies.
When renting beats booking rides
A rough rule: if you would book three or more rides within a few hours, compare the rental total first. Four hours of a car without fuel is Rs 2,000 on Drivio, and the car waits for you between stops.
Choosing fuel included or not
If your plans involve a lot of driving — across the city and back — fuel-included is simpler and you avoid stopping at a pump. If the car mostly waits for you, paying for fuel yourself is usually cheaper.
